In this adventure we will cross valleys and hills located south of General Carrera Lake. We will ride through native forests, and camp next to the Tronador glacier. We can enjoy nice baths in mountain waters and we will have the possibility to observe the native fauna, finding condors, huemules, foxes and many more.

1. 1 DAY

NIGHT IN CAMP (SC)

We start from Mallin to the Escorial sector (Bramador hill) where we will enjoy a delicious barbecue at the highest point of the mountain range of that sector, where there is no vegetation.

2 2 DAY

5 HOURS RIDING

NIGHT IN CAMP (DAC)

From the "Bramador" sector we will ride to Santa Clara, which is a private field in the sector. We pass through forests of Lenga and rivers, with lots of vegetation, excellent viewpoints and wonderful views.

3 3 DAY

NIGHT IN CAMP (DAC)

We start from Santa Clara towards the South Asunción sector in the middle of the mountain range, through constant native forest (Lenga is the name of the tree) . We will have the possibility to observe huemules and foxes in this sector.

4 4 DAY

NIGHT IN CAMP (DAC)

We begin our trip in the direction of “la Pampa del Zorro” where we will find waterfalls and pools where you can enjoy a nice bath. We arrive at the foot of the "Tronador" glacier during the afternoon, where we will camp.

CAMP NIGHT (DS)

We begin our return from the Tronador Glacier towards Mallín Grande. We arrive at our destination during the afternoon.

CONSIDERATIONS

Chilean patagonia is famous for having unpredictable weather. You can live the 4 seasons of the year in the same day. It is for this reason that it is necessary to be prepared for any event. The climate in winter is dry and cold with temperatures between -10 and 10ºC. The weather conditions are more stable between May and October. It is recommended to consider these factors when choosing the clothes with which you will attend the ride.
